Michael E. Auffenorde is licensed to practice law in both federal and state courts in Alabama, including bankruptcy court and before the Social Security Administration. Mr. Auffenorde was reared in Huntsville, where members of his family currently reside. Mr. Auffenorde attended Grissom High School, during which time he was a member of the school's debate team. After graduating high school, Mr. Auffenorde attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. He was elected editor of the school newspaper, the Exponent and was a member of the University's rowing team. He attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was a member of the Journal of Trial Advocacy. He represents clients extensively in the areas of personal injury, worker's compensation, employment discrimination, and disability.

Mr. Auffenorde practiced law in Birmingham before returning to Huntsville to establish the partnership of Auffenorde and Auffenorde, P.C. Although still representing clients statewide, his practice is concentrated in North Alabama. He is a member of the Huntsville - Madison County Bar Association, the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association.

Ms. Auffenorde was reared in Huntsville, where her family currently resides. After graduating from Johnson High School, Ms. Auffenorde attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, and then went on to earn her masters Degree in Administrative Science. Ms. Auffenorde entered the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence. During Law school, Ms. Auffenorde gained international experience through her studies at The University of Heidelberg, Germany, The Universityof Canterbury, England, and at the University of Victoria, Canada.

Ms. Auffenorde practiced law in Birmingham, including a clerkship with the Honorable Kenneth O. Simon of the Tenth Judicial Circuit in Birmingham. After her clerkship, she returned to Huntsville to establish the partnership of Auffenorde and Auffenorde, P.C.
